Agartala July 27: The All Tripura Diploma Engineers Association (ATDEA) under the aegis of All India Federation of Diploma Engineers, an affiliated unit of SAARC Diploma Engineers’ Forum held their 5^th national executive meeting at the Sukanta Academy, Agartala on Saturday.

The event aimed to discuss the future strategies of the organization and address key issues that need attention.

Pranay Sarkar, assistant secretary of the organization while talking to the reporters said, “From the day’s event we want to draw attention of the state’s chief minister and the state government to address the crucial issues that the Diploma Engineers are facing”.

“One of the major demands include revival of the Old Pension Policy instead of the new one”, he said.

Sarkar however expressed gratitude to the present government for Ad-hoc promotions mentioning that this ‘boosted the spirit of the engineers’.
